I love soft pastels...love them! I also love degus and other assorted rodents. I also have a thing for 18th century fashion so...here you go. My regal degu. I own degus and one of them was my willing model. 
Of course I couldn't put him in a tiny coat such as that and make him pose, but you get the idea.
